All you need to do is blend the fruit of your kid’s choice, pour them in a popsicle mould and freeze. All done.

Banana and strawberry; mango and banana; mango, banana, strawberry; apple and banana are some options.

  • Homemade pizza

There are fun snacks for kids, and then there are fun snacks for kids and adults alike. This one is spot on!

The ever-favourite pizza given a homely twist.

Again, super easy to make, the kids can rustle these up too. Adult supervision is, of course, required.
Get whole wheat or multigrain pizza base from the market. If you make the base at home, then you don’t need this recipe as you are in an altogether different class!

Spread a generous tablespoon of the homemade pizza sauce* on the pizza base.

Top with chopped veggies of your kid’s choice – mushroom, baby corn, sweet corn, broccoli (if you are lucky), pineapple etc. Sprinkle pizza cheese and drizzle some seasoning and slide in the oven.

*Pizza Sauce : Sauté some chopped garlic with finely chopped onions. Add pureed tomatoes, salt, black pepper powder and herbs. Cook till it reaches a thick consistency.
